Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
Each personalised beauty bag is made from our favourite premium Nappa leather. This includes the outer shell of the bag, which is where your photos will be printed. You can choose a smooth or bubble texture, both of which are high quality and will display your design marvellously. The zip pull, decorative tabs, and base of the case are made from smooth black Nappa leather, which will humbly direct all the attention to your photos. The inside of the custom cosmetic pouch has one open compartment and is lined with our black Suede Vision fabric, which will be soft for any products moving around inside.
Our print experts and leatherworkers work together to create your personalised beauty bag. Your photos are first printed directly onto the leather in a manner that fuses the ink and material together. The design becomes embedded into the leather so it won't peel away or rub off down the line. Our craftspeople then cut each piece of leather to size and fashion the custom cosmetic pouch. The details such as hardware and zip are added to complete the beauty bag. Our quality control team makes sure your photo gifts look perfect before we send them to you.
The surface area of your custom makeup case has plenty of room for you to design. You can keep it simple with a photo on either side, get crafty with a pattern, or go all out with a collage of your best memories. For photos, we recommend keeping them centred in the design panel. Add text to write your recipient's name and you'll have a perfect custom cosmetic pouch.
