Cami with Gutenberg illuminations

This diverting cami top displays patterns based upon the decorative illuminations in Gutenberg Bibles and similar incunabula sources (books printed in the 15th century, which were often finished with hand-drawn decorative illuminations). The pattern was arranged to create the effect of having a couple of horizontal belts of heavier decorative design separated by more open and light fields of floral images. The center of the front has a globe design with a nine-pointed star motif in the center, also created from similar artistic sources. A cami such as this might attract the attention of a person who adores medieval history and style.
